In the second episode of Project Runway, the contestants are given the challenge of designing a chic look for a very pregnant Rebecca Romijn. The outfit could be for any event but it must be beautiful. The designers were given a budget of $100 to create this extravagnt outfit. Ramon created a cocktail dress that was too busy and "looked like a bowling ball bag". Luis went for a more date-like dress that was well executed. Alfia designed an evening dress that was very elegant. Mitchelle made sloppy shorts that were too simple. I felt that the judges were were too harsh on him because they all agreed they would were this outfit if the shorts were put together better but told him he was too simple. Unfortunatly Melvin got too into his idea of making a bird-like because all judges agreed his outfit was too "biazar" and chicken like. It was not flattering and no mother would want to look like a mother hen. Sharon however, won the challenge with a lovey coat and a lovely dress. All of the judges agreed that this outfit was the most wearable and anyone would want to wear it. Overall Rebecca Romijn was impressed.
